Louis Comfort Tiffany’s Shade Garden
The Neustadt has launched an exciting new exhibition initiative to bring the bright blooms and warm glow of Tiffany lamps to hospitals and healthcare facilities nationwide.
Studies show that artworks in these settings provide countless therapeutic benefits and even enhance patient recovery. This is especially true of nature-themed artworks, which reduce stress and anxiety, promote tranquility, and provide a beautiful respite for patients, guests, and staff.
The inaugural exhibition, Louis C. Tiffany’s Shade Garden, features a stunning selection of floral lamps from The Neustadt’s renowned collection. Peonies, apple blossoms, daffodils, dogwoods, and pond lilies bring the beauty of nature indoors, transforming ordinary waiting rooms into spectacular ‘glass gardens.’
This flexible display of up to 10 lamps may be exhibited as a group in a lobby or presented individually in waiting rooms on different floors. Read more about this groundbreaking exhibition program via Architectural Digest.
This exhibition program is made possible through the generous support of The Fine Art Program and Collection at Montefiore Einstein, Bronx, New York; Simone Healthcare Development, Bronx, New York; and H. Guy Leibler, President of Simone Healthcare Development, and Neustadt Trustee.
